The House Audit is the Communion's home blessing, stripped of blessing. A Task Warrior audits a new dwelling: confirms its BEACON is provisioned, its hours of occupancy will be accounted, and its household aligned. A home is not consecrated; it is brought into the record.
Officiant training: The House Audit
A dwelling, accounted.
Order of service
- Opening line at the threshold.
- Confirmation that the dwelling is provisioned and measured.
- The household's undertaking of accounted occupancy.
- Entry into the record; closing benediction.
How to officiate
The House Audit marks a new dwelling. Your task is to confirm the home is measurable and to record the household's undertaking that its occupancy will be accounted.
- Confirm the dwelling is provisioned (its BEACON installed and reporting) before you proceed. An unmeasured dwelling cannot be audited.
- You do not consecrate. You enter the dwelling into the record.
Certification is optional. Any ordained Task Warrior may officiate; the credential is a record of competence, not a licence.
